Tel Aviv University, Israel, invites applications for Doctoral and Post-doctoral Scholarships from eligible and interested candidates

The laboratory of Biohistory and Evolutionary Medicine at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University is seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. and/or Postdoc student for osteobiographic research on the impact of socio-economic transformations on human behavior and health during the early-and mid-Holocene Levant.

Designation: Postdoctoral and/or Ph.D. Student

Research Area: Biohistory and Evolutionary Medicine, Osteobiographic Research

Location: Tel Aviv University, Israel

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • MSc and PhD degree or equivalent in Anthropology or a related discipline.
  • Very good English required.

Job Description:

  • Conducting osteobiographic research on the impact of socio-economic transformations on human behavior and health during the early-and mid-Holocene Levant.
  • Participating in laboratory and field work, as well as data analysis and interpretation.
  • Presenting research findings in international conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Collaborating with other researchers in the laboratory and across the university.
