Eligibility/Qualification–

  1. Qualification: Applicants should have completed Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the subject or allied fields.
  2. Age: The candidates who are 39 years of age or younger at the time of commencing their scholarship would be given preference.
  3. | Candidates who have already been abroad for study/training/specialization either on scholarship or on their own for a period exceeding six months are eligible to apply only if they have been in India for at least two consecutive years after returning from abroad as on 28.03.2019.
  4. Other eligibility conditions as set out by MFAT as per Annexure-I.

Job/Position Description- 

Scholarships may be held at one of the eight universities and three institutes of technology in New Zealand as listed in the in.

Employed candidates must obtain ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer. In case of Government servant, cadre clearance is must.

Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

The following criteria would be adopted for shortlisting the candidates:

The merit list would be drawn by giving weightage to Centrally Funded Educational Institutions (CFEIs)/Institution of National Importance and NAAC accredited institutions, from where the candidate has completed his/her qualifying exam.

Incase of tie, weightage would be given to the marks obtained in the last qualifying exam.

Where grades are mentioned, the candidate must upload the official explanation adopted by the University/Institution.

Scanned copy of date of birth certificate/ class 10″ certificate bearing date of birth or other equivalent documents.
