About-The Institute of Oncology Research (IOR) hosts a growing number of researchers performing basic and translational research in oncology with special focus in cancer biology, genomics, molecular oncology and experimental therapeutics. The Institute, directed by Carlo Catapano MD, PhD, was established in 2003, formerly as the Laboratory of Experimental Oncology and as part of the Research Division of the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland. In September 2011 the IOR became independent and managed administratively through the Lymphoma Foundation (President, Prof. Franco Cavalli).

Project Title- Molecular Oncology
Location- Institute of Oncology Research (IOR), Bellinzona, Switzerland
Eligibility/Qualification-
- Ph.D or M.D./Ph.D. (already obtained or soon to be)
- At least one first author publication in a relevant journal
- Highly motivated person with strong interest in research
- Experience using mouse models and/or generation of mouse model is also highly desirable.
Job/Position Description- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on one of several projects focused on cancer metabolism, cell signaling and immunotherapy. Applicants with a strong background in tumor metabolism and cell signaling are encouraged to apply.
