National Institute for Materials Science invites application for Postdoctoral Researcher in Japan from eligible and interested candidates
About- To accelerate the innovation of materials, advanced analysis technologies holds the key to the realization of “super smart society”. Our aim is to build an international research center for the development of the superior analytical techniques for advanced materials. Firstly we promote the development of the core competence techniques in the advanced materials analysis domain, and develop joint studies in connection with the research projects in NIMS and in the world. Eligibility/Qualification–
The applicant should (or is expected to) have a Ph.D. degree in the field of science or engineering.
Research group is seeking a person who has some knowledge and experience in following keywords; surface physics, surface reaction, vacuum science, vacuum equipment design, computational science, or material development with hydrogen.
It’s better if a person has some degree of programming experience with Labview or similar software.
Research group welcome motivated researchers who can actively discuss.
Research group also welcome a person who collaborates with researchers and engineers from companies, universities and domestic research institutes involved in research activities.
Job/Position Description- Hydrogen measurement with operando- hydrogen-microscope and analysis of the data.
Design, arrangement and operation of ultra-high vacuum equipment for the microscope.
