Eligibility/Qualification– You should have a PhD in chemistry or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. The role will include basic electroanalysis, spectroscopic impedance analysis, the generation of a range of monolayer and polymeric electrode-confined films, surface analysis and the design and utilisation of microfluidic systems. The candidate should have expertise and/or experience in analytical electrochemistry surface analysis, assays and microfluidics. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities, to supervise other team and lab activities when asked and to coordinate work to meet specified deadlines.
Job/Position Description- Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Analytical Electrochemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Jason Davis on a research project funded by the EPSRC/WBI for a period of 12 months. The project involves the development of sophisticated on chip electroanalytical microfluidic assays relevant to Parkinsons Diagnostics.
Grade 7: £32,236 – £39,609 p.a.
